Liability Release Agreement

Dear Valued Guest,

With our highest regards for your child / children’s safety, we would like to inform you that we strongly discourage children below the age of 8 years from staying in any over water accommodation due to the nature and setting of this room category at Four Seasons Resort at Landaa Giraavaru. Due to its design, layout as well as changing ocean tides and currents, it is not suitable for children within that age group. In particular there is no protective fencing around the deck, the walkways are narrow, and the currents are very strong even for experienced swimmers.

Despite your understanding of the dangers to young children inherent in staying in over water accommodations, you have decided to rent an over water accommodation for your family, including young children, and you understand that Four Seasons Resort at Landaa Giraavaru requires you to assume full responsibility for your child / children’s safety.

By acknowledging this Liability Release Agreement, you thereby agree to indemnify Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru from any and all claims, injury, losses, costs and expenses that may be suffered or incurred as a result of your decision to allow your child / children to stay in the over water accommodation.

You agree to assume any and all risks to your child or children including substantial injury or death and you expressly release Landaa Giraavaru Private Limited dba Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru, Four Seasons Hotels Limited, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts B.V. and each of their subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively “the Resort”) of and from any and all claims, losses, damages and expenses that you or your child or children may suffer or incur as a result of, or in any way connected to your child or children staying at any over water accommodation, including but not limited to the negligence of the Resort.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Resort from any and all claims, losses damages and expenses arising from any injury or loss related to your child or children staying in any over water accommodation, including but not limited to claims from your spouse, your child or children or other family members now or in the future.

Please indicate your full acceptance of all risks herein indicated by accepting.
